About Me

I have struggled with my weight since I was 12 years old. I have tried all kinds of diets, but the best one that worked for me was Weight Watchers. I never liked the diets with special foods. I don't want to be told that I can't have certain things I like. 

As I start this blog I am 35 pounds above the weight I would like to be. I am being honest with myself right now. I will be 33 years old this year, I have two children. I am not in my 20s anymore, and lets face it - it's just not as easy as it was a decade ago...

I've realized through looking at old pictures of myself that when I thought I was "obese" I actually looked good. My goal is to get to 180. If I get lower than that great, if not, no sweat (pun intended). 

I've accepted the fact that I might never get back to the size I was when I met my husband nine years ago (wow), nor will I be the weight that my license says I am (who really is though?). 

My goal right now? To be HEALTHY. To be HAPPY. To be a good EXAMPLE for my children. To make my husband PROUD. If I look good doing it so be it.
